برای جوایز فیلم ۲۰۲۳ فیلم کمدی The Banshees Of Inisherin اثر مارتین مک‌دونا و All Quiet on the Western Front از نتفلیکس سرآمد لیست هستند.
All Quiet on the Western Front بیشترین تکرار در جایگاه و دسته های مختلف را با 15 بار تکرار به خود اختصاص داده است. از جمله فیلم غیر انگلیسی زبان، بهترین فیلم و فیلمنامه اقتباسی دیده می شود.
Aftersun در هشت لیست از جمله بهترین فیلم، کارگردانی و اولین فیلم برجسته یک نویسنده، کارگردان یا تهیه کننده بریتانیایی دیده می شود.
طبق خبرهای سینمایی مووی 21 دنباله آواتار جیمز کامرون به نام The Way of Water در فهرست بلندبالای بهترین فیلم و کارگردان قرار نگرفت. فیلم موفق باکس آفیس در تمام دسته بندی های اصلی غایب است. اما در دسته های صدا و جلوه های ویژه بصری به شدت خودنمایی می کند. در حالی که فیلم اصلی هشت نامزدی از جمله بهترین فیلم و کارگردانی را به خود اختصاص داده بود.
این فهرست ها از طریق دور اول رای گیری بفتا تهیه شده است. دور دوم که نامزدها را تعیین می‌کند از امروز آغاز می‌شود و در 13 ژانویه 2023 به پایان می‌رسد. نامزدهای جایزه ستاره نوظهور EE در 17 ژانویه اعلام خواهند شد.
